8/8/07 What a great day for a long ride !

Of those who speak about what's to do, there's fewer things in life that challange every sense of being, anticipation, expectation, can't wait to start, when can we stop, will this road ever end, what's over this hill, why is so hot, how did it get so cold.?
The trick is planning your bladder.
Seriously, the thrill of this trip goes beyond belief. You never get weary of the sights, the big sky, the tremendous vistas as the sun goes down seem to have a never end. It's not easy going 70 mph and all the while the the colors, cloud patterns w/ never ending swirls of whispy tails colored with every imaginable hue.
The Wind
Got to see the Modern Windmills, dozens of them. They are hundred of feet tall w/ blades that span 300 feet across.
Hope all are doing well, let's stay in touch. Love Don

I hope Don warned both of you that he is lactose intolerant before you ride behind him after all the ice cream stops.
You guys are making great time. You should have mounted a video camera on the bike and taped the good parts.
You might even have a chance for "Who traveled the longest distance to get there award"!
How many miles so far?
Don, don't forget to put down your feet when you stop.
Ride Safe !
