End of Day 2

Hi All,

Boy, it's inspiring to see all of your messages. Ken, Dad's already in for the night, so I'll make sure he checks your post tomorrow. Auntie Claire, I'm so psyched you're following along. Thanks for the well wishes. Amy, I wish you came along, you'd certainly be good comic relief. Well, I'll see you in October, since I'm your date for the reunion, right? ha ha . Just kidding, Mark. Today was long, but good. We're in South Bend Indiana, right below the Michigan border. I was all excited to see signs for Sturgis, but that was Michigan, NOT South Dakota. No rain today, but close. We did 430 miles (approx) today, starting out from Clarion, PA. Tomorrow, LOTS of rain, it looks like. Good thing we have rain suits, I'll be darned if we spend the day in this place. We rode all day, was SOOOO hot, like high 90s early 100s. We spent most of the day in Ohio. Seen one farm, you've seen them all, I guess. We ordered pizza for dinner since it started raining the minute we pulled into the parking lot of the Ritz Carlton, uh I mean Holiday Inn Express. hee hee. The best part of ordering pizza was that I told the guy I wanted the 2x Tuesday deal, and he told me that it was Monday. DUH. ha ha. (Mark's fault).

We miss you BIIIIIIIGGGG! Thanks for getting the dogs some tennis balls, especially since Freak ate them all. Did you get the chance to see them today? I called you tonight. Did you get my message? I'll try again in the morning. We love you a whole bunch. I really hope to talk to you in the morning. Mark wanted to tell you that Grandpa eats more ice cream than any kid he's ever seen. I can't believe it either. He wants to stop for ice cream every other stop. Love, Mommy and Mark.
