Looks like we made it....

After calling it an early day on ....um....what day is it......well I guess it was Wednesday - in Sioux City, Iowa we all wanted to get an early start to make it Sturgis for sure. As you can see we woke up to incredible fog. It wasn't raining so we suited up and rode it out. It burned off by the first 100 miles and we were in the clear and on our way through Nebraska. All on Route 20.

This is what it looked like from my seat. Beautiful. Nothing but soy, corn, cows and pigs for miles and miles with an occasional ethanol plant.

My and my friends.
This is Royal, Nebraska not quite as catchy a name as Correctionville, Iowa but the people were funny as all get out and kind as could be. The heart of America has some great people in it and we were very glad to have met them. Our quick gas stop turned into an hour long town meeting - it was great!

This picture is per Amy's request. So I gues we take requests, peach pictures, Kellie's bike pictures - anything else?
Ok - so we got here around 7, set up camp went into town for a beer and a bite and tried to relax. Kellie and I are still vibrating a bit so we are letting our nervous system and Kellie's butt have most of the day off. We will go into town later and look for a new seat for Kel's journey home but for now we're going to chill while Don is already out exploring.
Hope you all have Barry Manilow in your head from the blog title. See you all soon.
Much Love and Peace!
Markus

"Looks like tomatoes..." Yes I did have the song in my head. Thanks. A guy I work with who was at Sturgis last year said to avoid town after 4 and learn the backroads. But he's not as cool as you guys because he flew there and had his bike shipped. As for picture requests...creative roadkill or even live animals would be cool. We saw a bobcat by the highway in MA this week. Pretty cool. Just no requests for naked pictures of Mark please because he would be all too happy to oblige.

Mark, I've responded to your emails twice so I think it's your filtering. If you got the second one then the first probably didn't get back to you because there was no subject line and your email probably blocked it thinking it was spam.

Hope you unwind, relax, and be safe.

Hi guys. I really miss you. Today I went to the ice cream social. I got all of my favorite toppings: caramel( in a cool container that looked like a ketchup bottle. It was easy to squeeze out.), Reeses Pieces, and chocolate cookie dough.

p.s Mommy I had A supper bad dream that involved you. I will tell you about it when you guys come back.
